Welcome to Hevlín (Czech Republic). Hevlín is a village of 1 400 inhabitants, located in the South Moravian Region in rural area next to the Austrian borders. It is interesting to visit is Hevlín's old railway track with heritage protected station building and closed track to Austria. The village is situated close to Austrian town Laa/Thaya and historical Moravian wine-towns Znojmo and Mikulov.
When you visit Hevlín as part of the YOUMOBIL- project, please follow the mentioned steps:
- Travel to Hevlín using your Interrail ticket
- Make yourself notes about your travelling to and from Hevlín, especially about the infrastructure (trains, train stations,…)
- Check out Hevlín using the tipps listed below.
- Make some nice pictures of Hevlín. Afterwards you can visit Austrian town Laa/Thaya and bath in the spa, the historical Znojmo city and surrounding vineyards, the picturesque historical winetown Mikulov, Aqualand Moravia or surrounding Pálava lakes.
